I am a 27 year old mother of two who works full time and is constantly trying to find that balance between work and home. In order to live comfortably we have to have a two income home and therefore, since I have to work and can't stay home, then I want to be successful in what I do. I am lucky enough to have my mom watch my children. In my spare time, which is few and far between, I like to scrapbook.
35 year old woman who has owned a business previously. Been an at home mom for 5 years, rocking kids to sleep, dreaming up great new, needed baby products and finally picked a business to start. Was super excited about it, website went live and a week later discovered I was pregnant with number 3 (surprise). Ironic since the business is baby planning. Baby 3 was born in May '08. Very excited to be getting back to the bus. Now have 3 kids and a husband (4th dependent) and a new business. Life moves on.
I am currently workign at a great place, longer hours than I would like but hopefully that wont last forever! I was a single mom working at a gold mine in Nevada. The company I worked for was horrible and even though my child was breech and I was going in and out of labor for 2 weeks, they would not get me an office in town (I was at the mine 50 miles out of town) and I had to go back to work after a C-section at 5 weeks (I did not qualify for FMLA yet, didnt have my vacation yet and couldnt afford to take LWOP). So I went back to work, cried everyday, was in immense pain and pumped. I kept on pumping even while going away for a week for work. I then moved with my fiance and got a job with the State of Montana. Awesome place to work! Very supportive for pumping and being a mom. I did have some interesting pumping experiences as I had to work in the field but I kept at it! It was the best thing for my baby but it also allowed me to feel connected and like a mom even though I couldnt be there all the time for my son!

I am a mother of two beautiful little girls. I work full time in the medical field. I hate taking them to daycare, so I have recently started working home business (Melaleuca)at home. It is going slowly, but it has finally started coming together. I like the fact that I am using safer products for my family and eventaully I should be able to spend more time with them at home. My ultimate goal is to be able to be home fulltime and enjoy any and all extra activities they might get into.
