I am 5 years into my single mom life. Yes that's right. I was never married to or lived with my daughter's dad. I pretty much raise my kids alone, with some help from my older brother (babysitting). My ex-husband disappeared shortly after the divorce and calls once a year to disrupt, but not enter our lives. My daughter sees her dad about two or three times a month. Other than my kid chaos, I attend classes at UNT, bartend and manage my parents business, while looking for a job that will be more accommodating to this crazy life I have learned to love so much.

I am married with two five-year old daughters. As life would have it, our lives changed dramatically about 18 months ago. My husband accepted a position in Houston. At that time, we were living in Colorado and I had the best career anyone could have wanted. After the recent adoption of our youngest daughter from China and a subsequent move to Houston, I chose to stay at home with my girls. We crammed almost every stressful situation a married couple and family could go through (change in job, move to another city, adoption of a child, and the financial change in lifestyle). But, we made it through!!! Now, I'm ready to begin another chapter in our lives...starting a business.

I am a working mom with two toddlers. I have just moved to the area I am in after living in the town I had been in for 25 years. We are 3 hours away from family,friends.

I'm almost 40 but feel 18. I love being with my kids and my high-school sweetheart husband. We laugh a lot and spend a lot of time together as a family while also each having individual pursuits which are supported by the rest of the "home team."

I am a writer and the mother of 10 kids who range in age from 3 to 20 years of age. Six of my children were adopted internationally, from Korea and Ethiopia.
