This is an entry at Katie Couric's blog about Nujood Ali, from Yemen, who was awarded the Glamour Magazine’s Woman of the Year Award. Nujood was married at the age of 9 to a man three times her age and after several weeks of abuse she took her destiny into her own hands and managed to be granted a divorce. An inspiring story of hope and determination.
