Goals for 2008

Well, here it is....another year, with another set of goals. I like to call them goals rather than resolutions. It's something I know I'll actively work towards when I call them a goal.

This year my goals all have a flavor of freedom. I'm working my business towards the goal of financial freedom. Although I have a successful business that is growing and thriving and I have the help of assistants, it still isn't where I want it.

I'll keep on the track of passive income in my business as that also provides the freedom I enjoy. It isn't always easy to keep focused working from home, because there are always so many opportunities at your finger tips. However this year I'm dedicated to maintaining my focus of freedom in my business...which is achieved easiest for me when I am focused and keep my business on target....not dipping my hand into many different pots.

Aside from my business, my family goals also revolve around freedom. I intend on my business making enough that my husband can quit his job and either come home and help my business or do something he really wants. He'll have more freedom to enjoy life and his family. We'll have more freedom to take a family vacation and a couples vacation.

This year we're also going to work towards buying a new vehicle, so that we can take mini get away vacations in and around our state throughout the year. We'll be setting up a RV fund, as we want to take our family on trips around the states starting next year.

Being a business owner for me is all about freedom. Freedom from working 9-5. Freedom from a commute. Freedom from a boss. Freedom from income limitations. Freedom from being restricted in what we can do as a family....etc.

Now we're working on an exact plan to meet our goals for this year. I refuse to have another year come and go with only a few of our goals met. I do have a good feeling about this year. God is good and I put my faith in him that this year all our dreams and goals will come true with my hard work and his help ;)

What about you? Do you have goals set for the year?
