I want to teach my kids the skill of seeming fearless

At work, at play, in relationships, in life, I want my kids to seem fearless.  When they quake inside at taking a first step, holding out a hand, doing a presentation,  I want them to seem fearless..to have the strength, the courage, and the self confidence to make the leap and then the resilence and fortitude to own their choices and to keep making choices.  I want them to seem fearless in making a decision, choosing a path, setting goal,  and then to seem fearless in admitting their knees were jelly while they were doing it.

I've often admired people that seem unafraid to take the leap! I want them to be like that
Good one. As you say, the key here is SEEMING fearless, not BEING fearless - feel the fear, and yet go ahead with it anyway. Sometimes fear is a necessary and positive thing.
I love this, OliveMartini! Can you adopt me, too?
That is the sign of true bravery, feeling fear and getting through it.
