We went to the Barnum and Bailey circus for the first time in 13 years last night. Just curious... when did the circus go from three rings to one?
Oh... and from eight elephants to two. Also, the clowns don't look like clowns anymore. No big noses, funny hair, big shoes and wild outfits. There were two (semi HOBO-like) in this particular show - one pretending to be French with an accent and adult humor while the other mimed more than he clowned around.
My four year old loved it, which made me so happy, but... just can't stop thinking of how different even the circus has become.
