Three interesting things about me

1.  I was the state spelling champion in high school, and actually won a college scholarship for spelling.  We had these local rally competitions, where you would compete against students from other local schools, then go on to the state competition.  There were four school categories, depending on size.  I placed first out of all four school categories.  To this day, it gets under my skin to see things that are spelled incorrectly.

2.  I am from south Louisiana and do not eat seafood.  I'll eat shrimp on occasion if I don't have to cook it, and maybe boiled crawfish once a year.  Give me steak any day!

3.  I am currently a teacher, but am studying to be a childbirth educator.  I want to start giving prenatal classes this summer, and maybe make a career of it.  I am also considering going back to school for nursing, and possibly midwife certification.

Hi!

Very cool 3 things! I wanted to look into being a childbirth educator, too! I think it's awesome that you are doing that. :)

Best wishes in all you do!!

Hey, I can relate to the seafood thing. Kinda. I'm from New Zealand, but I don't eat meat. Any meat. But people are always, like, "ooh, you must love NZ lamb. Mmm. I love lamb."
