Mommy time

I am child-less this whole weekend.  Both girls went to Granniece's last night (My Aunt Denise, this is their combination of Grand Aunt Denise).  They have been spending weekends with her since M was 9 months old.  They have their own room there, and she always has some fun things planned.

Every time I have dropped them off with her, I feel a little pang of guilt, and part of me wants to keep them home instead.  Then I miss them like crazy and call 5 times a day to hear their voices.

Last night, not so much.  I am so looking forward to having a productive weekend, watching grown-up movies, and not listening to High School Musical in the car.  They are going out to the farm to feed the horses and cows, see the pregnant cow, and tons of other stuff.

This is going to be fun!!

Hey, can I come. I need a mommy time out!

Have fun.
Oh, wow, enjoy! I also often feel guilty when I have a child-free day -- when my parents take our daughter, for example -- but it's silly. We need the time and it's so refreshing!
