Simple Check-Up Turns into Day Long Event

We took our youngest for his 6 month well child visit today, and we ended up leaving with an order for hip x-rays (possible hip dysplasia), antibiotics for an ear infection I had no idea he had, and referrals to a dermatologist and an allergist.

We've been battling allergies and rashes for months, so I was happy to get the referrals, but the everything else was unexpected.

In the end, he got the x-rays, which turned out normal, and we started the antibiotic.  Could have been worse, but still....

WOW. You guys had a looooong day. Glad things are not as bad as expected. but I imagine waiting to hear the x-rays were normal was s-t-r-e-s-s-*!!* It reminds me of something I heard in a movie...when you walk out your front door, you never know where you're going to end up! Hope the ears and allergies clear up fast :) Talk to you soon,

Thanks Nataly - We're doing fine now, other than the ear infection making him a little crabby!
Glad it turned out ok -- but it sounds like it was really stressful, so I hope you guys are doing ok.
