The Choices I have Made

Today my husband came to me and informed me that he was promoted on his job. To watch his face, this joy this man whom I share a life with a love, a family. Watching him and my children strive through the pain of autism and the struggle overcome obstacles we continue to face in our marriage. I love him and the choices I have made me a better person. I use to sit and reminise on the working world and my old job and start sobbing like a big ole baby. I found my place and that is home with my family. Of course knowing me I will keep myself busy like finish up on my education or sell Avon for example. What Iam basically trying to say is whatever you choose to do whether it's being an at home mom or a working one, take pride and believe that anything you do is in the best interest of your family. There was once a time I choose to be a working mother full time and there was that taste of guilt and bitterness that couldnt wash away with mouthwash but when my kids need me most I was there. Now Iam home and they need me here, they all do and this is my transition I have made for the better. So to all the single mothers or mothers, fathers and parents who either work or stay home take pride in what you do. You are loving your family the best way you know you can :)
