My dream job changes all the time. Sometimes daily, sometimes weekly! Actually I dream of various jobs that span across multiple industries and hope I get to do each of them!!
As of this week - one of my dream jobs has come true! I accepted an internal offer to head up an enterprise wide (international) internal end-user facing application. It has a terrible reputation and I am so excited to have an opportunity to change that! People keep congratulating me and then either saying 'wow, good LUCK with that...' or 'hey I have a problem, will you fix it for me?' haha!
It will certainly be a challenge but I am inspired by the entrepreneurial culture of the group (it's a whole new reporting structure within the overall organization) and the opportunity to make people's work days a little easier.
