Job "Whoa!"s

The job situation has really turned around!  This extended weekend in ATL I have 3 external interviews lined up, and also 2 leads for internal jobs (1 lateral transfer, 1 promotion).  5 job leads allow me to sleep at night - I WILL be gainfully employed in Hot-Lanta.  My 2-up boss visted last week and let me know that at least the lateral transfer will be a sure thing, and hopefully the internal promotion will post next week so I can interview and nail it.  I am not counting chickens, however on the promotion...once bitten twice shy, fool me once, and all other apropos cliches.

I hope that one of the opportunities rises to the top so I don't have to make any more hard decisions.  The best problem to have would be that I get the promotion AND an offer for an external job that is a promotion, too.  Maybe this is daydreaming?!?  I just feel like I have had so many decisions lately that were comparing apples to oranges (houses, mortgages, blah blah).  I don't want another one!  All I want is a cut and dry fantastically perfect job with zero commute, fab benefits, great people, challenging work, 8-5 hours most of the time, and ridicuolusly high pay.  Is that too much to ask?!  I want enough money to hire a maid and take my vacations.

I'm so excited to go across on Fri and visit family and friends, and job hunt.  We'll get to see the new house again!  Thankfully the seller has agreed to all requested repairs, so it should be smooth sailing from here.  Big city here we come!
