am a mother of two kids, I have a full time job, part time business,
husband, house, why am I spending so much time on this website like a
teenager with nothing else to do.” I scolded myself. But then I caved in justifying that this site is actually helpful to me as a mom and a budding entrepreneur.
Then I thought about my internet addition throughout the years. In the late 90’s my addiction was internet chat rooms. In the later late 90’s, it was IM. I used to wait for the evening hours to get on the internet to chat. There was something more exciting about chatting online then on the phone. In 2006 I became addicted to Myspace.com. I
found old friends, reconnected and ran home from work and wait for the
late evening hours to put my son to bed and get on myspace. In 2008 I found out about workitmom! I loved the idea of working moms getting together to connect and support each other through the struggles we go through. Now I have two kids and run home looking forward to logging on. With my daughter in my lap and son sitting next to me I log on to read the latest blogs, questions, articles or notes. (I am just glad I don’t have access to this site at work, because I would be fired). Great job to the workitmom team.
