My biggest supermom moment...

I came home to a total fiasco! Such a fiasco that is actually funny when I replay it in my head.

I came home from picking Ocean up at daycare. It was hot as crap today and both Ocean and I were sweating just from going from the car to the front door. Did I mention that Miami is hotter and more humid than hell in the summer? Anyway, I also had some groceries in the bottom of the stroller. I walk in the door, dripping in sweat, to complete madness. First, the dog was sick and had dribbled some poop on the floor. (This is why we don't have carpet with pets!) As he jumped up and down, more poop seemed to just fall form him. Disgusting and a vet bill that i don't need but, I suppose if I were in a movie this would be a funny scene. So I put Ocean in his playpen and begin to clean up the poop while the dog gives me sad eyes in the corner. While I'm spraying clorox, Ocean starts to cry. I try to calm him by carefully kissing his forehead in between cleaning the poop. Then my phone rings. It's a call about a contract that I'm supposed to be closing on Monday but there are major complications and I've been waiting for this call all day. So I get the phone. So now, I'm on the phone with the loss mitigation department at one of the banks, trying to get my clients latest closing statement approved, cleaning up poop, trying to keep the baby from crying (without touching him since I am cleaning poop!) and hoping that I can get to put the groceries away before they go bad (the frozen stuff had already melted). Total fiasco but I somehow handled the whole thing perfectly. I finished my phone conversation, poop got cleaned, I took the dogs out, baby was happy and I got all the groceries away - all in 45 minutes.
