Devil's Advocate

Today's my last day

And look how hard I'm working. : )

I'm actually getting excited again about this part time thing.   So it won't be as fun, there won't be as many cool people to play with - I'll have more time for Trey, more time for my non-lawyer friends, more time for me.  I think I'm going to take a yoga class. : )

It occurs to me that I am probably vastly overestimating the amount of free time I will have working 20-30 hours per week.  It just seems like such a HUGE reduction from 50.  I'm going to bake cookies, do all the grocery shopping, get back in shape, reconnect with old friends, cook, volunteer at my son's school ...

How is it that even when I cut back, I remain so type A?

This sounds so exciting... although it does seem like you are already overbooking yourself :) I'd love to know how much of baking, gorcery shopping, getting in shape, friends, etc, etc you will fit in your new schedule!

Because some of us are just type A inside - I've accepted this:)

Best of luck with your last day and the client conversation - I hope all works out and please keep us in the loop on your new gig and new life!
