Grandparent advice

My mother and I are very close, gegraphically as well as socially. I respect her thoughts and opinions, although sometimes I don't want to hear them. My mother in law, on the other hand, usually either has the opposite advice, or very often she won't say anything at all (I'm lucky with that). My question is do you have an issue with your mother or mother-in-law giving parenting advice, and if so, do you take it or do you say something?
