I just wanted to share

I have a friend on here that has been missing in action for several months. Well her sister had told me that my friends son had a tumor and that it was not able to be healed. So for several months I was unaware of what was going on. I live in Texas and she lives in Illinois. We only became friends over the net. Never met in person. But I prayed for her son and just called every now and then never getting an answer. Well I just got hold of her the other day. I found out that her son passed away from the cancer. But they are all doing as well as can be expected. I feel for her. I know that I really don't know her or her son that well. I did talk to her son a few times on yahoo messenger though.  He was a very nice boy, he was 18yrs old and just had joined the millitary. I do a work at home thing and he had tried some of our bars. Well he had told me that he liked them and that he had almost eaten them all  by himself. So when we were unable to get hold of them. We placed an order on her account for I think 4 boxes of those bars!! Needless to say he never got them.. But Mom was thankful when she found out what we had done. I just want to tell her how sorry I am for her loss. I have never been through anything like that. And I pray that I never will have to go through that. I have 5 kids and even with all the trouble that they have put me through. (LOL) I would never want to lose any one of them.  Holly I will always keep you and your family in my prayers!!! May God Bless You!!! TTYL Beth

Thank you for this story. It is interesting how we can so wrapped up in our corner or the world, only to surface and find our loved ones and friends gone never to return. Thank you for giving me perspective on what really matters in life! Gives new meaning to it is well with my soul!
Beth,
Thanks for sharing this with us. It has made me realize just how precious our time is with family and friends. We should cherish every moment. We never know when our time will be cut short.
Hi Beth,

I'm so sorry for your unexpected dilemma. Death is never easy for any of us. It was very sweet of you to keep in touch with your friend and to send her sons fav bars. With 5 kids, I can only imagine what your daily schedule is. Please share it sometimes. Talk soon.
