Well, I know most of you out there are always thinking of a way to find a " Work from Home" job. It is not an easy journey. You have to be prepared for some of the obstacles that will occur to try finding a job like that.
Let me tell you my experience. It first started when I was pregnant with my first child and only child for now. I was excited as always and wanted to spend so much time with her. I was working at the time and you can imagine what goes through your mind. I went on maternity leave and spend all the time in the world with my little angel. Each and everyday I was counting when I had to return back to work. It was really hard to think of all that.
It was about 2 weeks before I was planning on returning to work, when I decided to talk to my supervisor if I could work 3 days a week and the rest of the week I would work from home until my little angel would be at least 6 months old. I discussed the plan with my supervisor. She did not even say " I will think about it " or I will let you know by this day. All she said was " It is impossible". So, I decided to take charge and do what is best for my daughter and I and that was to spend time with her.
I then told my supervisor I am resigning and gave her my notice and did not return to my job. Now, here comes the challenge. I was lucky to have a wonderful, supportive husband who wants the best for his daughter and his wife and stood behind me 100%.
I started off looking for anything that was posted " Work at Home", "Quick and easy Money". Anything that sounded perfect, but remember there is always a catch to all this. After a while I stopped responding to those jobs. All they want you to do is invest your money before you make any money.
A while back I did a "Medical Transcription" course and received my certificate and I thought, YES, this is my way to "Work from Home" and get some money in. I started off by emailing my resume, calling, taking tests and everything and anything they were requesting from me. And you know what " Nothing happened". You get disappointed, but my husband stated. Why do you waste your time and get disappointed.
He stated " In order to get where you want to go, you need to do it for yourself" and we then decided to open our own business called Kinderbloom.
Not only do I spend time with my daughter but I still bring some income in the house and I do not have to answer to anyone but myself.
Don't get me wrong...there are plenty of "Work at Home " jobs that you can get and that are legitimate but you have to be either experience or you were working for the company for quite a while then they might consider you to work from home.
So, if you ever decide to go that direction make sure you do your research and have some money lined up incase you will have some obstacles. But never give up and say this " I believe I will succeed".
Thank you all for reading this article and see you next time!

When we researched deeper, what we found was IF we paid employees to be HOME, our worker's comp rates went up 10X instantly.... and so would our general business liability.
IF someone got hurt in their home, EVEN if it was TOTALLY unrelated to their employment, and they SAID they were working on their JOB at the time, we could have been sued for liability. Companies just can't afford that expense today.
That worked out fine for us because I was tired of having bosses and ceilings to how much we could earn, so we closed the corporation and chose another path...
HOW SAD that we spent over $80,000 with all the business lawyers, CPA's, incorporating expenses, and more to start our corporationiin 1991, yet we've earned far more income, and it's a recurring income monthly now with a business we own and build from home.
Just make sure the path you choose, (neither is right and neither is wrong as it just depends on YOUR goals) is one that will lead you to reaching your goals....
Thanks for the insightful post!!
