I've been blogging about rough times lately, and wanted to give a little update. The other night papajama, babyjama, and I got the chance to let it all go in a sense. As a family we've been under a lot of scrutiny lately, and it was a chance for us to just be together.
We cranked up the tunes and danced. And I do mean DANCED. Toddler butt bouncing, arms flailing type of dancing. I see it as a metaphor for what's been going on. We may dance to our own tune, but we're together and we're happy...so who cares what the nay-sayers say.
For a rocking good time:
John Butler Trio
Grand National
(Warning: this is a very liberal artist...so you might want to pick something else to let loose to if that will make you mad.)

Our own family was (briefly) stressed this past week and after a lot of drama, we found ourselves regrouping as a family. There is such strength in family and is "chicken soup for the soul" in a sense.
Have a nice weekend.
