Sarah Palin - The Right Women For The Job

I, for one, am ecstatic that Sarah Palin has been nominated!

Some of the posts that I have been reading here are so unfortunately typical of women.

Is it envy? Jealousy? FEAR? Anger that you havent gone after or achieved your aspirations? What?

This woman is what the "Liberal" Women's Rights Movement have been pushing for isn't it? Gee, sorry it's turned out that all their efforts, Ms. Palin has taken hold of and run with it. I guess no one told her, or anyone for that matter, that the Women's Rights Movement did not include women on the right.

I am very confident that Ms Palin is capable of performing the potential VP Job AND President should that be in the cards!

All of the backstabbing that goes on with the media, who can't find anything of substance to attack her on, focuses on her daughter.

If no one is aware, our country has had a teenage pregnancy issue for some time now.

Sarcasm? Good for her! Good for US. Its time someone had the guts to stand up for the people. It has always been said, If you want the job done RIGHT, get a women to do it. Well, here she is and the job will get done.

If it were a man up there attacking O-Biden, there would not be one word about the status of their family or children. HE would be considered STRONG.

Those days are gone people. Time for women to be who they are, show their personal strength and reject anyone that offers nothing but negative comments.

Hi KC, thanks for stopping by.

Yes, she was sarcastic and many, myself included loved it. I guess it is okay for someone to get bullied without there being any response?

After all the press trying to smear her before taking the time to investigate who she is, by all rights they deserved what they got and more.

We the people have a right to hear objective, honest & truthful reporting. Not opinions. Reporting. That is what the media has a responsibility to do.

What they tried to do to her was not reporting. It was plastering smears and lies. It's like they can't survive without dirt.

The people of America deserve better and actually should demand it.

I wouldn't lie to you to get you to do something I wanted you to do and I expect the same. I have enough respect for you to give you the "facts" and allow you to make up your own mind.

As far as giving "ideas", I think she did just what she should have done under the circumstances. No body knows much about her and she let us know what her experience has been that brought her to this point... in addition to accurately responding to all that she and her family have been through due to the press.

You don't think the left was behind what was in the press? Well, it's okay if you don't, but I'm not convinced. And, despite my strong conservative views, I'm sure the right is guilty of doing the very same in many situations.

Hope to see you back again, KC

Enjoy your weekend :0)

It IS nice that a woman was nominated for the VP spot. And, despite my liberal views, I tuned in to her RNC speech to hear her ideas.

Unfortunatley, I didn't hear many ideas; I just heard that sarcasm you mentioned. C'mon, she made fun of Obama for being a communty organizer, for helping people to get back on their feet! Shouldn't we want to help our fellow human beings?

I found it equally offensive when Rudy Giuliani (male) ridiculed Obama's work as a community organizer as when Palin (female) did.

And, if I recall correctly, Palin swiped at Michelle Obama during her speech as well (a reference to Obama's poorly chosen words of being proud of her country for the first time). So much for the candidates agreeing to make each other's families "off limits." So much for women supporting women.

Palin would have one my vote with concrete ideas of how she plans to make our country and world a better place. Instead, I sat through 3/4 speech the content of which was bashing the other guy. Her comments seemed pretty negative to me.
