The Saturday Morning Wardrobe Malfunctions

Satuday mornings are my morning to sleep in. Dad gets up and plays with our son, since 6am is his internal alarm closk, until I wake up. Sundays are my turn. However, every Saturday without fail I am surprised to see just how mismatched my sons clothes can get. Its an every Saturday occurance!

I laugh about this every week and never know what to expect. My son has regular clothes. Many of them very plain and easy to match. Jeans, t-shirts - you can never go wrong with them. Yet his dad always seems to find the wackiest combination to put on him, and I mean wacky. This past Saturday, he put on some red plaid shorts with a blue rugby striped shirt. He said that they both had red - although the shirt had one teeny tiny red stripe and the patterns and fabric looked ridiculous. All he needed was a fanny pack and a camera around his neck! I live practically on the beach so we get a lot of foreign tourists and he fit right in! Ha ha.

I am obviously not upset about this, I just change him when I wake up but they have usually already been out to breakfast and have been seen in public. I am not sure why dad picks the wackiest combinations that he can find instead of picking jeans and a t-shirt.  It gives me a giggle each week - maybe dad's real reason for doing it. :)

haha! i think it's just a male trait! my husband does the same thing, though, since he has been dressing our son for school now he has learned combinations that work (because i have previously picked them out!) but there are still some days i get home from work and say 'wow! how did you think that one up!?' very funny! At least the kids dont care yet :)
