Supermom Strikes Again!!

I can't believe how much us moms have to do! Or maybe its just me since my husband works far and long hours. :) But I have now had another supermom day and am proud of how many things I can accomlpish in one day.

We are leaving on vacation so I like to have the house in order and everything organized prior to leaving. So, here is my yesterday AFTER I got off work!! I picked up my son, went to Target to buy travel sized toiletries, came home only to realize my son had a slight fever. Took care of the sick baby, fed him, bathed him and put him to bed early so he's not sick for our vacation. Put clean dishes away, threw in a load of laundry, started dinner, packed suitcase some more, put more clothes in washer/existing load in dryer, ate dinner with now home husband, cleaned up after dinner, took out dryer/put other load in dryer, took down pack n play, swept floors, mopped floors, fed dogs, checked sons temp, folded all clothes as they were ready now, took dogs out, straightened up clutter, printed out itinerery and maps to and from each hotel and finally went to bed. Hooray!!! Most of these things I was actually doing simultaneously, hence the supermom label!!

No, I don't have a lazy husband either. He came home right at the "ate dinner" part. After he ate, he went over to the place that we just rented (which isn't even his but he helps me with it :) and moved out  things that were left and fumigated for bugs (it's necessary in FL), came home and showered off any poison, and checked babys temp. All in time that we could go to bed at the same time!
