Not a good working mommy day

Today's juggling act was a bit too much for all of us. I had to have someone else get my daughter off the bus so I could jump on a conference call. I also had to stick my kids in front of the TV so I could have said call and bribed them with chocolate to "be good" while I was on the phone. Thankfully this is not the norm for me, but it's the very thing that I wanted to avoid as a working mom.

Oh, I so hear you. The other day I had to stick my daughter in front of the TV at 6pm at night because I had to do an important call, my husband who was supposed to be home by then was stuck in traffic, and our sitter had an appt so could not stay late. I hated doing it, tried to remind myself that imperfect happens, but it really made me feel off for the day....
I hear ya, girl! It doesn't mean you've dropped any of those balls you're juggling. But I know that feeling. We do what we must and then we have chocolate, too!
