Hey there all you fabulous working moms,
I am new to the site but so far I'm loving how user friendly everything is. I wanted to share something with you all. I know everyone here understands the challenges that we face every day as working mothers. A few years ago, I faced a challenge that I did not think I would get through. I decided to return to college and pursue my degree in journalism. I still had to work full-time and it was sooo difficult to balance everything. Fortunately, I made it but it was not without tons of tears, angst and sadness. During that time, my children and I barely had enough time to sit and chat. In fact, sometimes the first time I'd see them in the morning would be the last time I saw them for the entire day. I was missing out on family activities, school plays and sporting events because I HAD to study for exams constantly. It was heart breaking but my schedule was just grueling. It was without a doubt a huge sacrifice our family made. Anyway, it was then that I created a set of interactive journals especially designed for working moms and their kids. They were great. Co-workers loved them (and even bought some); I captured a little attention on the local level; I was featured on a talk radio show for moms and had a few non-profit organizations looking to use them as well. It helped me bond with my children and we still use them today. Take a look at my website www.lambertangel.com and let me know what you think about them. I'm trying to get them into stores but that is a whole different animal. I think they would be GREAT for companies like HALLMARK but those guys won't even look at unsolicited products/ideas. If anyone has any advice on how I can get my books out to the public, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

thanks for responding to me. I will definitely post a question on the forum. I actually thought that my little write-up was posted in a place where everyone could view it. Like I said I am new so I still have to learn how to navigate my way around. I will also check my area for the boutique style stores and see what I can come up with. Thanks again!
