the clean up battle

Trying to keep from loosing my cool while the kids avaoiding cleaning their room as they have been asked, and asked and told...ad nauseum. Taking a computer break before I snap.How does everyone get the kids to pitch in without repeated prodding as to what needs to get done?Any advice? Help!!
