| My 3-year-old says she wants to be a fish when she grows up. Or a bird. Or a giraffe. My 1 year old hears the word "up" and lifts his arms to be carried. Our big kids have more concrete ideas for themselves, though: the oldest (14) wants to go into law, the 12-year-old wants to work with horses, and the almost 10-year-old wants to be involved with... |

| Tonight, my 19-month old would only eat dinner using the tiny yellow plastic spoon that came with his 3-year-old sister's tea set. | My preschooler is sobbing and wailing, "I want Mama!" as she stumbles up the stairs, and I am sitting downstairs trying to work through the ringing in my ears (compounded by what seems to be a massive double ear-infection.
