What would I do if I had a whole day to myself?
Date: 22nd Mar
Oh man, what wouldn't I do? I'd read, craft, work on my four blogs (yes, I have four of them) and just all around be creative. I would probably really start on the biggest project I haven't been able to start on yet. My novel. I can tell you what I wouldn't do: clean the house! I do that enough as it is!

I want to teach my kids...
Date: 6th Feb
to pray and think before they act. I have made so many mistakes rushing into things before I was ready and made impulsive decisions, passed up opportunities, and wasted so much time. I want them to learn to search their hearts to find out what they truly want in life rather than settle for what's handed to them.

I work because...
Date: 15th Jan
it forces me to evaluate my balance levels. If I wrap myself up in just one thing, I get lost amidst the shuffle of life. I work because I enjoy working and I also enjoy closing the laptop and reading stories, playing games, and just having fun with my family. I work because it's nice to "miss" the kids every once in a while.

I plow through novels this way and I get some much needed "me" time. It makes the 4:00 am alarm much easier to appreciate when I'm in the middle of a good book and can't wait to get out of bed to... |

New Year's Resolutions
Date: 2nd Jan
I sure did. And generally I boycott the whole idea, so this is a big deal for me. I'm focusing on health (phycial, mental & emotional) and getting back to my organizational habits. I realize I can't do it all, but I'm willing to make small steps of progress to get back my piece of mind!
