| My first-ever job was at the Gap. My high school was 1/4 mile from the mall. I was 16 years old, and it was during the Christmas season. It was really just my way of getting out of the house, away from my crazy family. My father used to have to pick me up after 10pm when we were done folding everything in the store. | Post-Christmas shopping hysteria |

| People are insane when it comes to getting a deal. I wonder if I would feel differently if I didn't work in retail. There was a line of about 30 customers in the cold outside my store this morning before we opened at 10am. The second we unlocked our doors, they literally ran to the display of holiday tchotchkes, and started loading their baskets... |
