About Me: I'm a science librarian, and mother to Zoe, age 1 1/2. We struggled for 2 years with infertility before finally conceiving with some medical and medicinal help. Our current excitement is that Zoe has recently had to get glasses, and keeping glasses on a toddler is an adventure, indeed. I'm interested in scientific literacy, women in science, environmental issues, infertility research, and librarianship. I love yoga, but rarely find time for it, and try to keep a garden going. I love digging in the soil, and the idea of shaping and nurturing the landscape, but I'm not particularly good at keeping the plants alive.
