About Me: Married 19 years; 1 son, 11; small business owner; "Idea hamster" and consultant to food businesses; Stampin' Up! demo; foodie; avid reader of good blogs; life coach to people recovering from lousy relationships; civic and school volunteer; education foundation Board member; all-round nut.
My interests: Stamping, cooking, scrapbooking, reading, good TV, bad reality TV (in tiny doses), movies, growing herbs and veggies.
How I de-stress: Read, sleep, hang our with friends preferably at a place that serves icy cold libations. Believe it or not, cheesy paint by numbers; I do them and then throw them away. Instant gratification at seeing something evolving into a recognizable image even though the actual painting may not make sense - it's a nice allegory for life.
Best advice I've gotten: Keep your kid first.

My favorite book: Couldn't possibly pick one!
My favorite movie: Pretty Woman - cliched I know but I can't resist the fairy tale.
