My name is Jessica. I am married with one daughter, Rebekah. I work full-time and can only do it with the full support of my husband. My career use to be my love and I never thought anything could replace that, until I had Bekah. She is now my love and my career pales in comparison.
Best advice I've gotten:
Basically not to feel guilty about working and putting my child in daycare 5 days a week. That I am working to provide her with the best life that I can. By having a career it shows her that a woman can be anything she wants to be.
An adjective to describe me:
Stubborn
Family
Number of children:
1
Relationship status:
Married
Parenting advice I follow:
Stick to a routine bedtime. My aunt told me that when Bekah was about 2 months old and has served us well. 5 out of 7 nights a week, Bekah is ready for bed at 630 with no complaint. It gives my husband and I time each night to spend sometime together.
Parenting advice I ignore:
Hmmmm, I can't think of anything right now.
Favorite activity with my kids:
My favorite activity with my daughter is just spending as much time with her as possible. She is less than a year old and I want to cherish the time that I do have with her. We also take swimming lessons which she absolutely LOVES.

I HATE the fact that in the past year my job has gone from being a regulatory position to trying to squeeze as much revenue out of my department as possible
