I'm recently divorced and reconstituting myself professionally and socially. I have my son part time which has given me freedom to develop my business and his Dad has stepped up in great new ways.

Find the balance. I was once a ubermom, doing it all except I left myself out of the equation. I tell new moms to find a way to hold onto a thread, at least, of their old self apart from family.

Disciplining in order to establish who's in charge. My relationship with my son is a balancing act with lots of communication.
