About Me: I am a suburban working mom surrounded by stay-at-home moms, in a community that caters to them. I have a son who is in first grade, and had a daughter in September of 2007. My husband has an hour-long commute, so it sometimes feels like I am a single mom.
My interests: reading, scrapbooking, cooking, sleeping, reading blogs, childbirth education, photography

How I de-stress: driving fast, reading a mindless fiction book

An adjective to describe me: creative
My favorite book: too many to name
My favorite movie: anything with Julia Roberts or Hugh Grant

I just visited your blog - I really like it

Hey Alana, a few months ago I found myself in the similar position as you. A really good friend sent some advice my way. She said "think of a certain amount that you need to make, and something will come your way." Life really came through for me.

I also know other moms training to be childbirth educators. If nothing else you could teach an adult education class with that. Wishing the best for you!!!
I had my gallbladder out Thursday, and am so glad that I had that done! Hopefully there won't be any more of those horrible attacks!
We came home from the hospital on Sunday, but have had to go back every day since then for bloodwork. Tomorrow is supposed to be the last day, so hopefully we won't have to rush out of the house Saturday morning!

Jaundice can be scary, huh? So glad to hear her levels are dropping! Is she home or at the hospital yet? If she's not home, she's on her way!
