Parenting advice I follow:
Hmmm. I don't believe in extremes, so I don't think I "always" do anything! However, I frequently reread the poem "If I Had My Child to Raise Over Again" by Diane Loomans that I have on the fridge, and as she says I try to "finger paint more, and point the finger less."
Parenting advice I ignore:
At mealtime, "children should clean their plates." No!!!!
Favorite activity with my kids:
It's tough to pick just one! I love it when we all cuddle in bed and my hubby reads aloud to us.

  • Dear Shannon Hutton, I read your "what to do if you're being bullied at work" on Excelle. What if you are bullied by the companyy owners. I am/was the General Manager. Many hurtful things have happend over 4 yrs, I have no one to go to. I am left hurting and barely functioning at work. Please help! I don't know what to do or where to go. Thank you, Kelley Taylor
