- Don't sweat the small stuff and to pick your fights. Life is just too precious to bicker about the meaningless things in life. Enjoy every moment you have with your kids.

- Kids should be seen and not heard. This is probably the worst advice anyone could give. I have learned so much from my kids and I value what they have to say!
