Have you taken a business trip since having kids? Is it an enjoyable break or something you dread?

I used to really enjoy traveling. My daughter is 5 mo old, we are EBF at this point and I have taken one trip. What a pain it was to first of all check my luggage (I'm not used to that) and finding places to pump both in the airport and where my meeting was... it was a nightmare!! I have told my job that the traveling will be severely restricted for a few years not only because of breastfeeding but I just miss my babe and don't have that itch at the momet.

What did you do that helped you make the transition from maternity leave back to work a bit more manageable?

KC I also have been back for two months and still feel in transition. Originally my job called for me to be working 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. I set the precedent even before I left that this schedule would not work for me. The first few weeks I came in to the office even later than 8:15 and used my lunches to go visit my baby.

Welcome Tiffany, I see myself in a lot of what you posted about you and your daughter. My baby is six months old, so I know what you mean about "cry it out" and also the rough days.
