I am having the worst time with proper scheduling...I have a five year old and a six month old....both get up in the middle of the night...and we all have to be out of the house about 8 am. as of now I am a stay at home Mom contemplating my return to work

I have a 2 1/2 yr old, an 8 month-old, and it's alway one or the other that's up. I work full-time and commute c. 2 hours a day for work. True, because I work at a school, I have my summers off, but I usually just function on "survival mode." Don't beat yourself up too much about schedules, etc. Do what you gotta do ... in my case, I just went back to sleeping with one child, my husband sleeping with another. Yes, I tried Ferber on baby no. 1, and it worked, and when I get the guts, I will do Ferber on no. 2. But in the meantime, just survive! And you know, it's incredible what we are capable of withstanding and doing. If you want/need to work, you will figure out the exact method that works best for your family, and everything will be fine. Good luck!

I had the same prob with hubby. But with baby no. 2, we just NEVER cleaned the bathroom anymore (as well as other things). Our housekeeper JUST does the deep-down cleaning, once a week, 2 hours. Floors, bathrooms, windows, dusting. We do everything else (and it is still alot). We spend 25 $ each time, and yes, it is money well spent! Do it!!!
