Candi gives really great advice. Kids love to test our resolve and your girls are doing this to you mostly because you've let them talk you into things you clearly don't want to do. If you give them some concerted time, then you won't feel guilty about setting limits and promptly turning them back to bed (no negotiations! no laying with them in their beds!) whenever they try to push it. How do you feel about networking? What is your most burning networking question?
Answered on 29th January 2008:
Wish I could say I loved it too, but agree with everyone that it's very important. I'm a naturally shy person, so calling or emailing someone I don't know all that well just to say, "HI! Let's get together!" is a bit daunting for me. I usually come up with about 500 reasons why that person's reaction will be, "What the heck does SHE want?" My question is, how do you stay connected to people when you are out of work so that they don't feel like you have an ulterior motive?

I'm so interested to find you here- I've just joined today and am looking around for some friendly faces! I am a director of a social enterprise, we raise awareness and money for people affected by cancer with our cancer awareness jewellery. I would love to learn more about what you do!
I'm also a work at home mom with 2 kids aged 12 and 14 and I'm still learning to juggle my life!
Look forward to getting to know you.
