My daughter will be 34months old in April when we will be travelling to the US. Will it be fine if i use a "Ride Safer travel vest" for her in the flight and in the bus?

You will need a carseat if you will be traveling by car while you are in the US. The law requires all children under 40 pounds to be in a car seat. You might as well use the carseat on the airplane, too. That's what we have done traveling to and from Ecuador with our children. As for the "bus" are you talking about an airport shuttle? I don't think restraints are required for that because you are in them such a short time, there is not even time to set up a restraint.

Maybe you could tell your son it's too early to wake up, and settle him back in bed in the same way you'd settle him in to go to sleep at bedtime. When my daughter wakes up too early she is crabby too, but most of the time I can get her to go back to sleep by giving her her bedtime lovey and sometimes a sippy cup of milk. And you might want to discuss the situation with your husband. It's not clear from your question whether he works an odd shift which requires him to be asleep at that time or if he is just being unhelpful. My husband drives me nuts on weekends wanting to sleep in while our baby and toddler are both crying for attention, but he's great on weekdays. I've talked to him several times and he is slowly coming around...I hope...
