Am I crazy to be considering leaving my high paying job to spend more time with my kids (2 & 5mos) in this economy? Is anyone else struggling with this decision right now? I don't want to stay at home full time, but with this career I never see them. I

Evansmom, I remember struggling with the same decision -- and talking numerous friends through the exact tough spot. If it's any encouragement to quit, I left a six-figure job as CEO of a small ad agency when my son turned one. I started a freelance business from home and earned more in its first year than I had as CEO of my former company. Now that freelance business is a $5 million ad agency -- in an office building about 5 minutes from my son's school.
