Goals I am working on:

To be more balanced. To split the duties and jobs in a day out so that little bits of it all gets done every day!
Projects I am working on:

Making a photo book of memories and images . . . in memory of my grandfather. The one-year anniversary of his passing is in a month. I need my grandmother to have something special.

Questions answered

Help - need very last minute, inexpensive gift ideas to get for our neighbors - 3 different houses. So new to this - first time we are in a house during holiday season and yes, I completely forgot.

Did you already figure something out? Does your neighborhood all trade gifts?? Yikes! I'd be in dire straits if we did that for our neighbors . . .

Did you become more or less risk averse after having children? How is it manifesting itself in your life?

I guess it is hard to answer this question . . . I don't think I find the time (or rather, don't make the time) for risky adventures. I long for bike rides (hogs, not cycles) and want to sky dive and learn how to downhill before I'm too old for it . . . I'm still game for any adventure - but I think my issue is more the time, than simply whether I'm willing to take on risks now that I have kids. Did that make any sense?

Hi, Naomi. Thanks for commenting on my Business Plan article. It is great to hear that you are really using your b.plan, which I should have mentioned is EXTREMELY important when you're working with a partner. We all ASSUME we're on the same page but unless that page is paper, it is really hard to tell.
