I actually work from home so I thankfully don't have to deal with the cut backs and gas prices. You will be amazed at how many people have deicided to work from home either part time or full time to bring in extra income and are working to eventually replace their outside income altogether. I understand what you mean completely, I'm a single mom of 1 and I do it all by myself. But what I did was get a home based business. Have you ever thought about doing that? It's working out great for me because I'm my own boss, I create my own schedule, and I earn residual income. If you do choose to do a business you should choose one that interests you.
