About me:: I have been a single mom for many years. I was married and found out that he was married. So, I was granted my divorce and full custody of my son. I lived in AZ for 18yrs and now reside back at home in GA with all the family. Recently engaged, but not worked out. Recently had Tumor removed from head (benign) thank god and now dealing with short term disability. Bills are due and need to feed my family. My faith in god was lost for a while, but now I am lev=aving it all in his hands and prayig daily for his favor on my family. I am glad to know that this site is available and some one throught of it, because it is a challenge everyday to survivie. I recently signed up for a dating site and am very nervous about meeting strangers. But, I am ready to strat living again and not be afraid of the outcomes. So keep my family in your prayers and thanks for lsitening. I am currently looking for a church in McDonough if anyone knows of a good church. I am Christian and Baptist, but like non-denominational churches. They are not so uptight and I need to feel relaxed and enjoy the word being preached from the bible. Too all moms " I feel like I just met a whole lot of friends. Thank you Irenee

Currently on my Life Wish List:

Completely put my faith in god, find out what I like about me and help my children to be successful, so that once they are out of the house I know I did the best that I could.
Goals I am working on:

I am working on getting healthy after the surgery, my weight and keeping keeping on. I have success in my future and I plan on getting it. I also have wanted be a singer ever since I was a little kid. That\'s still one of my dreams today.
Projects I am working on:

My faith has been a challenge and I am working on carry my own cross and stepping out on faith in god and thats where I am at now.

Irenee, thanks for reading my "Stepmothering" post! For what it's worth, I think you did the right thing, both for yourself and your kids! Marriage is too central to our day-to-day happiness to not feel absolutely certain before you make the leap -- doubts can be an invaluable wake-up call that you should listen to, and you did. Hurrah for that! Best of luck in recovering from your surgery!
