- Accept your children for you they are - they are all so very different and will never be exactly what you want them to be. Give them the freedom to develop their own personalities while supporting them along the way.

- I don't believe in being rigid with my kids - we follow a routine but allow for spontaneous events to unfold.

- We're a very active family so we enjoy skiing, bike-riding, playing games, swimming, etc...

Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving a comment on my profile. It's great to have you as part of our community and I really hear you in terms of so-called family-friendly employers. I worked for one once - when I needed to take a few days off to fly to another city to be with my grandmother at the hospital, the senior manager on my project told me that as a single, non-married person, they expected me to be in the office when I was needed.... Can't wait to see your many contributions to Work It, Mom!
