Parenting advice I follow:
Be honest and treat your children as friends. Children are smart.. if you want to stay on top of what goes on in their lifes you need to be a part of it. Not just supervise it!!!
Parenting advice I ignore:
Children need to listen under all circumstances. My children have a voice. It will make them stronger individuals later in life. It's how I was raised and it served me well.
Favorite activity with my kids:
Hiking and camping. We go to Mount Rainier at least once a week during the summer for a hike and try to go Yellow Stone every summer for a week or so. I love to take my kids everywhere and nowhere. So I guess traveling will name it all.
