I have a burning question. I would like to know how I could keep my 4 year old daughter occupied when she gets back from daycare in the afternoon without propping her in front of the TV .. Mind you I also have a 2 month old baby girl who needs my attenti
Answered on 9th December 2008:
I have a snack ready, so she can eat and then tell her she can play until dinner is ready. I have a 3 year old and a 6 month old, so I'm in a similar situation. I also have toys she can play on her own with - little people (build a city!), Thomas the Train, books she likes to read herself, etc. Just nothing that requires my interaction or clean-up (no play-doh!). I also set up more toys in her own room, so that she can play in her "own space" which helped.
