  • Hello Victoria,

I'm a casting associate for a new documentary series about single parents. The series, set to air on TLC, will follow a trio of single parents looking to get back into the dating scene after years of putting their children first.

This is an honest and heart-warming series that intends to cast serious people looking for a genuine relationship. People seeking out to be on the next Bachelor or other reality dating show need not apply. Our series is not about prize money or cheesy elimination ceremonies; it’s about the struggles of being a single parent looking for love. As the series is set to film in San Diego, we are only looking for single moms and dads in that immediate area.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could assist us in this casting process by attaching this information in your next email blast/group newsletter, or running a banner advertisement that links directly to our website.

Should you need to know more about our series, please don't hesitate to call or email me with any questions. I will have a press release approved tomorrow , which will provide more details about this exciting project.

    Thanks for your time,
    Janelle Nixon

  • Victoria, just wanted to thank you, Nataly and the WIM team for such a great community. I've been a member for several months now and always get so much comfort and inspiration out of it. It's grown so much even in the short time I've been a member. I know you put your heart and soul (and I'm sure some sweat and tears too) into it and just wanted to let you know how much it's appreciated. I hope it's starting to bear some fruit from a business perspective for all of you. Here's to a successful and prosperous new year for WIM! (FYI, I left the same comment for Nataly on her page!)

  • Thanks for inviting me - I'm looking forward to getting to know you!

Maybe you can inspire me to work out more - I know it helps relieve stress and I definitely need that!

  • Hi Victoria
Thankyou for your comment on the article. A 'racing brain' can be very draining, and I used to suffer with it BADLY years ago. Bach Flower Therapy calls this the 'mental-merry-go-round' :) and I would recommend you try the White Chestnut essence to alleviate it.
You can have a look at www.bachflowers.co.uk to find out more, or find a practitioner online who may be able to put together a 'character blend' tailor made to suit your unique needs.

All the best with the de-stress endeavours.

    Many Blessings
    Jannette

  • My eyes look terrible don't they! I went to my doctor last week and he gave me some drops but they don't really seem to be helping at all.

I'm going to try changing some of my makeup and my detergent and trying teabags on my eyes.

Because me + permanent hang over look just doesn't go well together!
