  • I LOVE LOVE LOVE squidoo! I have about 35 lenses over there. My love of squidoo started when I was researching cloth diapering before my daughter was born. It was so easy to put all the websites and resources I found in one place.

    Then I made a lens on Babywearing, and on breastfeeding. fun fun fun.

    Then I made a little money from those lenses and a light went on. :)

    I consistently make at least 100 dollars a month from Squidoo ~ some is directly from squidoo, and some of it is from affiliate products I promote there. It's a great place to test for keywords and ideas for websites, as well as making money. :)

  • Nataly, that is interesting....you know Seth Godin. Great contact to have! I didn't realize he was the creator of Squidoo.
    Kathy, I didn't know too much about it either however it is a place to show your experience and expertise in whatever topic you would like to showcase. Maybe you really like to bake cookies and you want to share your knowledge and love about baking cookies. Well, then you can showcase your lens to be about baking cookies. And you can bring in all sorts of items on the subject...Amazon searches, google searches, your blog posts, favorite books on the subject, promote your products, etc.

  • I know Seth Godin, who founded Squidoo. I thought it was a great idea - but it's turned into a crazy place, where people mostly promote themselves and try to optimize SEO. If you have a business, I do recommend checking it out - especially if you fill a particular niche.

  • The short answer to your question is no, I do not. I've never even heard about it before now. I googled it and I see no reason to join since I'm not trying to market anything. But maybe I don't fully understand what it is! :)
