  • somehow hubby usually convinces me to let HIM sleep in on the weekends. i think he just must require more sleep? i am tired, but unless i am EXHAUSTED (about once a month) he usually does the sleeping in :) i can usually catch up by going to bed early if i am really tired.

  • Nope. We used to switch off - I could sleep in on Saturdays and my husband did on Sundays. But now he works on Saturdays and since I take the girls to church on Sundays, I rarely if ever have a day to sleep in anymore. And boy do I miss it!

  • Yeah I do sleep in on the weekends. My husband figures that since many nights I wake up two or three times to nurse that I should get a little extra time in the morning. So he takes her in the livingroom while I get some extra sleep. I LOVE it!

  • I really do sleep almost all day Saturday. I call it Sleep-All-Day Saturday! My husband keeps up with the kids. He snoozes a little on the couch, but all in all, he lets me rest.

  • Well. I sure as hell don't get up at 5am on weekends so yeah, I guess sleeping until 8am is technically sleeping in. Who watches the kids? Um. Me. I'm a single parent. Of course my kids are 7 & 10 years old and know how to turn on cartoons if they wake up before I do.

  • Ha Ha!! I have a seven month old who is breastfed. He makes up for being away from me during the day at night. I haven't slept longer than 6 hours in a year! He doesn't understand the concept of weekends. Besides, I was at work this morning (Saturday) at 7 anyway.
