  • I think online shopping best for time saving and money.

  • In person. I hate shopping online since you can't see and touch what you're buying... Besides, I love the excitement of getting out into the stores, shopping with friends, finding bargains... And I never seem to find prices on the internet that compare - especially when you add in shipping costs.

  • The only shopping I do online is for my husband he is a Seattle Seahawks fan and us living in VA it's a must!

  • Shopping makes me break out in a cold sweat. Can't stand it so the thought of going when EVERYONE is there would just kill me. Ugh. Even grocery shopping puts me in a stupor. Once in my life I wanted to go shopping. I walked to the department store down the street, perused the isles, filled a cart and walked out because I was so done. That was fun! I'm also good at online shopping and leaving the cart full but not buying. What's up with that?!!? We go to the craft co-op on black Friday and do whatever shopping is left there, buying wooden spoons and jewelery made of sea glass and that sort of thing. Our own backyard Etsy.

  • I split my holiday shopping between online and in stores. But the rest of the year, shopping for myself and my family, it's 90% online. I guess we Work It, Mom! moms are atypical in that we tend to favor the online route. I open my local newspaper and see report after report about local shoppers going nuts at the big box stores and at the mall. Who ARE these people?! I went along to the mall on Friday, I'll admit it, just to see what the fuss was about. Ugh. Nasty. I'm a devoted online shopper and every time I go to the mall I come home thinking: why did I bother?! Two exceptions: supermarket shopping and Target - my guilty pleasure.

  • I don't shop on the day after thanksgiving. I do holiday shop online for some gifts though. I try to have all of my holiday shopping done by December 1st though. I think if I waited to do all my shopping after Thanksgiving I'd go insane. LOL

  • Wow. I have a lot to learn about online shopping, that's clear! I do about 2% of my shopping online. But then, like Olive, I've mostly done mine. I HATE shopping in December, when the stores are so very hectic. In other months, spending time, lingering, touching stuff... I enjoy the hands-on reality of in-store shopping.

  • I do 90% of my shopping on-line.
With the outrageous gas prices, traffic, jammed crammed malls - and the fact I live in Los Angeles… need I say more?
You can get some fabulous deals on-line using coupon codes, cash back and free shipping.
I check BensBargains several times a day for offers. I use FatWallet (there are other similar) for cash back and coupon codes.
Keeps me from losing my very last marble…

  • There is NO discount that has ever tempted me to go to a store. I have checked for online specials in the past..but usually by now, I"m mostly done with holiday shopping.
I would rather pay more than participate in black friday, saturday sunday....

  • I do all my shopping online and have for years! I have never really understood the appeal of crowded stores, screaming children and items you could have paid less for (including shipping) on the Internet. However, I also worked in retail for years, so I may be biased! :-)
